About Nancy

3am. I wake from a fitful sleep — a hotel room somewhere I couldn’t immediately place. Heart pounding, mind racing, that familiar spiral of panic pulling me under.

I was a rising consultant at one of the world’s most prestigious firms. Promoted faster than almost anyone. Respected. Successful. And completely hollow inside.

That shattering moment — repeated more times than I care to remember — was my soul’s first desperate attempt to get my attention. I wasn’t listening yet. But it was patient. It kept calling until I finally had no choice but to hear it.

I know the territory you’re navigating. I’ve walked it myself — more than once.

My First Passage

I didn’t set out to become a guide for leadership transformation. I set out to be successful.

Fresh from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, I joined Accenture — one of the world’s most prestigious consulting firms. I was promoted fast, respected, and successful by every external measure. And then my body and soul called a halt. The success I’d worked so hard for had hollowed me out completely and cracked me open to something I hadn’t known I was missing: my own soul’s calling.

What followed was the first great alchemical passage of my life. I walked away from consulting and spent years in deep inner work — studying Eastern spiritual principles and training formally as a life coach and spiritual guide. It was during this time that I encountered the work of Carl Jung on alchemy and individuation — the soul’s driving impulse to shed what has been outgrown and emerge into a fuller, more authentic expression of itself. Something in me recognized this as significant — a quiet knowing that this wisdom belonged in my work, even before I understood how.

I emerged from that passage with a calling I couldn’t ignore — to guide others through their own transformational journeys. Over the next 17 years I worked with hundreds of senior leaders, CEOs, executive teams and entrepreneurs — helping them hone their leadership to greater clarity, alignment and purpose. But it was through working closely with women executives navigating their own midlife transitions that something unexpected began to emerge. I watched highly accomplished, deeply self-aware leaders struggling in ways that conventional coaching couldn’t fully address. Their souls were calling them toward something truer — and the tools I had weren’t yet sharp enough to meet them there.

That’s when I made the connection — what these women were navigating was the inner alchemical journey I had been studying. That recognition became the seeds of my book Midlife Rebirth. Through my spiritual guidance training — which deepened into a full immersion in Jungian inner alchemy — I developed a profound understanding of the soul’s alchemical journey. What I brought to the book, and to my work ever since, was a translation of that wisdom into language any leader could access and apply — whether or not they had ever encountered Jung or transpersonal psychology.

My Second Passage

In 2012 something shifted.

I was deep in my executive coaching practice when I discovered Human Design and Gene Keys. Unlike anything I had encountered before, these systems offered something I hadn’t known was missing from my work — a precise, accurate map of the leadership encoded within each person from birth. Not a personality typology. Not a behavioral framework. A genuine blueprint of the soul’s unique design — revealing how each leader is built to make decisions, where they’ve been overriding themselves, and what becomes possible when they stop.

I recognized it immediately. This was the missing piece — not just for my clients, but for the field of leadership development itself. Conventional leadership development works from the outside in — building skills, behaviors, and strategies. Human Design and Gene Keys work from the inside out — revealing the leadership that was always already there, waiting to be claimed.

But I didn’t move quickly. From learning my own Human Design I knew better than to act before my clarity was complete. I spent five years integrating this new understanding into my work — watching how it transformed the leaders I was coaching, deepening my own practice, and sitting with the growing certainty that something truer was being called forth.

In 2017 I closed a thriving corporate coaching practice — not because something had ended, but because something deeper was ready to be born. This was my second great alchemical passage — and this time I recognized it for what it was.

Who I Am Today

Today I stand at the intersection of everything my two alchemical passages have forged — the strategic precision of 25 years coaching leaders, the psychological depth of Jungian inner alchemy, and the energetic accuracy of Human Design and Gene Keys. What I bring to my clients is something I spent a lifetime becoming capable of offering.

I work with a small number of experienced leaders and entrepreneurs at any one time — privately, intimately, and with the full depth of everything I carry. Each client journey begins with the Energetic Leadership Blueprint — a comprehensive reading of their Human Design and Gene Keys that reveals with startling accuracy the leadership encoded within them. From there we enter the deeper journey together — moving through the alchemical phases of transformation at the pace their soul requires, not their ego demands.

This work is my soul’s calling. It has been since that first hotel room in the middle of the night when everything I had built cracked open and showed me what was real. Every passage I have walked has made me a more precise, more compassionate, and more trustworthy guide for the leaders who find their way to me.

I am also, always, a woman of the mountains. I have hiked and backpacked ranges across the world — the Sierra Nevada, the Cascades, the Andes, the Himalayas, the Alaska and Brooks Ranges. I climbed Denali, the highest peak in North America, at a time when women in that arena were rare. These weren’t just adventures. They were pilgrimages — each one stripping away another layer of who I thought I was and revealing something truer underneath.

The mountains have been my most profound teacher — and my most reliable mirror. There is something that happens in the combination of physical challenge and the vast, indifferent majesty of Nature that no coaching room can replicate. Nature has no agenda. It doesn’t care about your title, your conditioning, or the identity you’ve spent years constructing. In that unconditional presence, stripped of everything nonessential by the demands of the climb, something opens within that is otherwise very difficult to reach — a quality of solace, clarity, and deep joy that I have found nowhere else on earth. It is, I have come to understand, a complete metaphor for the alchemical journey itself — and the reason I return to the wilderness again and again, both for myself and as an element of the deeper work I do with clients.

What I Believe

I believe that the leadership you are seeking is not something you need to develop, acquire, or become. It is something you already are — encoded within you from the moment of your birth, patiently waiting beneath the conditioning, the expectations, and the carefully constructed identities you’ve built to succeed in a world that rarely asked who you were truly designed to be.

I believe that real transformation cannot be rushed, manufactured, or forced. It follows its own alchemical timing — moving through the phases of Dissolving, Inspiring, Expanding, and Manifesting at the pace your soul requires, not your ego demands. The work of becoming who you were always designed to be is not a sprint. It is a sacred passage. And like all births, it takes the time it takes.

I believe that your soul knows the way even when your ego doesn’t. The inner conflict you feel — the sense that something truer is asking to emerge — is not a problem to be solved. It is your soul’s intelligence at work, calling you toward the fullest expression of who you are here to be. You are not lost. You are not wrong for feeling your inner conflict. You are simply being called — and learning to hear that call clearly is the beginning of everything.

The world doesn’t need more leaders performing someone else’s version of leadership. It needs leaders who have the courage to lead from what is encoded within them. That is the leadership that changes everything.

I believe that the guide’s role is not to lead you somewhere new — but to see what you cannot yet see in yourself — the leadership encoded within you — and reflect it back clearly enough that you finally recognize it as your own. My deepest gift is the ability to do exactly that — creating the felt sense of being truly known, perhaps for the first time.

And I believe that Nature is one of our greatest teachers. That the physical world — its challenges, its beauty, its complete indifference to our ego’s constructions — is one of the most powerful catalysts for inner transformation available to us. The wilderness has no agenda. And in that unconditional presence, we remember who we are.

If You Feel The Calling

If something in these pages has stirred something in you — a quiet recognition, a sense of being seen, a feeling that this is exactly where you’re meant to be — I’d be honored to connect.

I work with a small number of leaders and entrepreneurs at any one time, privately and with full presence. Every journey begins with a conversation — a chance to simply see what’s true, whether we’re the right fit, and what your next step might be.

There is no pressure here. No pitch. No formula. Just two people in genuine conversation about what is most alive in you right now — and what the leadership encoded within you is asking to become.

If you feel the pull, trust it. Your soul knows the way.
